  • The Verduzzo belongs to the Friuli native wines which find in the Colli Orientali a very favorable area. Verduzzo Valchiarò 2004 is pleasantly sweet with persistent flavours of ripe fruit - peach and apricot, honey and barley sweets.
    Great with spiced cheese, gorgonzola and roquefort, and cakes and biscuits. 
    Serve at 14°C (57°F).

  • Vinification techniques

    Bunches dried in wooden chests till December, 20th, 2004.
    Grapes softly destemmed and crushed.
    Must filtration via decantation.
    Fermentation achieved by adding selected yeasts.
    Fermentation temperature 17-18°C (62-64°F).
    Maturation in barriques for 12 months, than ageing in glass bottles.
